Has a strong odor. Unfortunately, I had no way of knowing this until after opening the plastic packaging and it is not returnable after opening. I contacted company and pillow with wool cannot be washed. I have aired out for weeks and the odor is still strong. While the pillow is comfortable I would recommend buying from somewhere that does a better job of washing the wool prior to filling the pillow to eliminate or reduce this issue or has a more flexible return policy.
My wife and I absolutely love ours. A year later and its still just as good as the day it arrived.
I have used Magnolia Organic pillows for years after trying MANY organic pillows - including Avocado and Birch. The cotton pillows are wonderful but just get too flat after 6 months. After buying three over the years, I thought I'd try the wool. I like the wool better. It is fuller, firmer and keeps the shape. The only issue is that it was folded when it was shipped in a box and I have a permanent indentation in the middle that I can't get rid of. Please ship them flat in the future.
I have two wool pillows and I love them. They smell fresh and do not hold onto any offensive odors. I will occasionally fluff them in the dryer and they are good as new. I have had them for over a year.
