Care instructions
Wool has self-cleaning properties and is well-known for its ability to remain dry and clean, making it difficult for any bacteria or fungus to set up camp. That makes your organic wool comforter very easy to care for: you don’t need to wash it. Use an organic duvet cover. Spot clean only. A few times a year, hang your comforter in the sun or fresh air for a couple hours.
Nice weight comforter. It’s heavy and warm and just what we were looking for. That said, ours came out of the package smelling like campfire smoke (strong). No other way to describe it. We aired it out for a few days and then put a cover on it but weeks later still smell the smoke scent. I contacted support and was told “the comforter was not processed in a Smokey environment and we should just air it out more outside, and eventually the smell will go away, and to let them know if they can provide any additional information”. I’d prefer a comforter that doesn’t smell at all, considering it’s organic and “minimally processed”.
These duvets are heavenly. I have purchased four over the years. One for everyone in our home, and if I could, I’d purchase one for all our family and friends. Truly a luxurious experience having these. So soft and cozy. I am so very grateful to all of the people who have a hand in making and providing these.
